It is easier said than done, but we ALWAYS have to learn to accept and let go. You know what I mean ;D

New set of Kittens!

Not mine, but my neighbours'!

After the death of the three cats named after Brangelina's kids, no kitten had been produced as a new brown female-pregnant cat came to settle into the house so the former cat factory sulked and ran away. We waited for the brown one to pop but all the plot became really complicated and..

The next door neighbour of my neighbour's gave their set of kittens to be raised! And the brown apparently became the surrogate mother to the new set! How interesting! (I only found out last Saturday. haih. And I haven't really confirm how many are the kittens. hahaha. Lambat sungguh berita. wakakaka)

I had (a glass, not a cup of) black coffee this morning and this phrase came across my mind

So, what's life?

Is it bitter?

Is it full of energy (of caffeine)?

Or should we say it has anti-oxidants? ngahahahahahaha

Ok, maybe I'll do deeper derivation.

But I'm not really happy for it.

Oh wait. I should've said something like this in the Black Blog. Ok, I'll stop.

This year's Ramadhan has been by far, the BEST Ramadhan ever for me. It brings more than ever, PEACE for me.

Past years was quite just OKAY, since most of the time I felt LAZY to do anything good especially tarrawih! Not to mention being sleepy everyday in the office and during fast-break, eat with gluttony.

This year was quite a change! We (my family and I) ate breads for sahur, and yet being able to focus during work and traffic jams. We had little meal during fast-break for we know we don't want to feel sleepy during tarrawih. And we've never shopped for food in bazar Ramadhans for we know that all the greed will let us buy almost everything. ahahahahahaha.

The amusing part, is during weekends. I'll be spending the time, having morning sleeps and in the afternoon, watching alternate channels of Asian Food Channel and Discovery Travel and Living. ngahahahahaha and oh! I've became a fan of Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson! I just love to watch when they bake, or make ~~babies~~ pastries, especially, and those were really blissful. I mean, just to see the foods that looked sweet and fruity.... Errrh ok, too much happiness now. hahahahahaha

However, I missed Lailatul Qadr. From experience, I'd say it was on the 27th or 29th night of Ramadhan. Both nights had the same sign, where the air was cool, and that was the night I CAN HARDLY WAKE UP. HOY! And the next morning, the sky was calm and breezy. But my parents managed to wake up those nights for prayers. What to do. I was not chosen. Anyway, no regrets and let's hope to meet the 'Ultimate Night' next year! Insya Allah.

Ok too much words, maybe I'll continue writing in the other place.

Busy ~~melayan perasaan yg tak pernah pergi~~ terawih siot (Terawih? Dusta. NGAHAHAHA)

It was in the early days of Ramadhan when the NAP (KL Branch) gathered to buka ~~baju dan seluar~~ puasa. Ok, no pictures of the gang~~bang~~ since it is not the topic. ho heh

So we dropped by Helly's house and found out they have two creatures worthy to be squeezed. NGAHAHAAHA

A point to share, is if you ever take a photo of a cat, off your build-in flash.

The thing is that, there's a saying, if you take pictures of your cat, it will die sooner.

Well I don't really believe (or even ever heard of!) the stand-alone statement until a good friend of mine said, if you frequently do that (take pictures with flash), the cat might think having to face strong lights is safe. So imagine they walk around crossing the roads at night. They might think the incoming two lights of metal giants are safe!

Ok, bahasa melayu. Weh. jangan amik gamba dengan flash dowh. Nanti kang dia biasa ngan lampu gitu, dia ingat lampu kreta tu selamat! Haa kan senang cakap gini HOY hahahahaha

I guess sometimes I DO need explaination for everything. Dasar budak sains. T-T

p/s: Can you tell what's da time at Zecchan's watch? Jam tangan dia spesel tuh. ngahahahahaha

Bunga Api in Ramadhan

Ok saye malas gile nak tulis bnyk. Saye kan Pemalas yg bergaya. ngeee

So what happened was last Wednesday was, My sisters came and we sort of had the family buka puasa except that my brother wasn't around. On normal days, in the house with 4 of us (my parents, my grandmother and myself), we often have little amount of meals and few types of food. But that day, we had roti jala, otak-otak, kuih cara, ayam percik, teh bunga, mum's bihun goreng, kuih tepung pelita and I really hope I forgot the others. Gile banyak. Banyak sampai aku buleh ingat hampir sume. ngeee

Thus having the fact of having my sisters around, I thought of doing my Tarrawih myself so I can finish up flexibly and spend time with them. But oh remember the foods? So I failed to do so HAHAHA.

Then having the kids of my sister, we really needed to distract them from running around the house climbing the furnitures. ngahaha. And the mother had bunga api (fireworks [?]) and yeah, it gave me an idea. heeee

Ok some pointers, the trick is to use a slow shutter speed with flash in a dark place. And you know the rest (jahat gile aku bunyik macam kedekut ilmu HAHAHA).

The bunga api, we use to have 'King Cat' brand, now they have 'Panda' brand. Gile natsukashii.

This happen to be my favourite. Looks like a high speed 'Tinker Bell'. CHEWAH

The least I can instruct them was to make circles. heee

And this one gave me a brilliant idea (Only if I have bunga api of mine). It'll be a good imitation of the japanese sentai series Shinkenjers. This will be a good project with my brother. hahahahahahha

Oh one last tip. Do find places where you have proper backgrounds, such as playgrounds, maybe? It will make it cool-er

Ramadhan Wishes

Again, Ramadhan is coming very very soon (It'll be here starting today's sunset!) and while waiting for it, I am waiting for my body temperature to go back to normal.. Yeah, I guess my antibody reached the limit after 4 days of defending wihthout aids of any Paracetamols. hahahhaha

And I am posting this pictures up just to pass my boring fever-ish time. hee

These are pictures of flowers taken during my family trip in Terengganu (Taman Tamadun Islam) and Kuantan last month (I wish I know the names of the flowers)

The first four pictures are from Taman Tamadun Islam. Different flowers were planted around different Mosque's replica.

A challenging one since I only have my kit lens.

Teluk Chempedak

Yeah, one month ago. Time envied me so much to let me upload these sooner.

Again, this is when I was in Kuantan. Teluk Chempedak has been my family's must-visit-spot in Kuantan. Furthurmore, this is one of my nearest spot to visit the South China Sea.

It was on a weekday when nobody is around the beach, and even more luck, even clouds are almost none. Giving me the vibrant colours of the sky that I adore very much. But yeah it was kind of too hot and made some of my pictures appeared under exposed. But no matter. Beach is definitely the place to feel the heat right? XD

This is what you'll see if you hop and run joyfully to the place (yeah, I meant JOYFULLY. ngahahahaha)

Lotus: Duta Village, Kuantan

I went to Kuantan last week. We stayed at a Hotel namely Duta Vista, under the Tanco Vacation Club.

And yeah, cool, they have a small lake full of lotus ~~cars~~ flowers. They maintain it very well keeping the lake full of ~~poop~~ nutrients. Thus giving us people with cameras excited. I got excited everytime we go back to the hotel HAHAHA

All of the flowers and leaves are healthy, compared to another place with a lake of lotus, Taman Gelora. At Taman Gelora, the leaves and the flowers, are dry looking ones.

Be it with or without wings, time flies.

Today is a day where I should reflect. But I see ~~a handsome guy in the mirror~~ no wings at my back.

Today is the 1st anniversary of my employee life.

yeah, nothing to be celebrated. But there's one question mark at the back of my mind: How much have I progressed?

Yeah, one year being in a job that needs massive learning, massive reading, and massive experience, the progress is definitely NOT MUCH FOR A LAZYBONE WHO ONLY LOVES HAVING FUN and yeah it's kind of sucks when the learning process is not so fun.

What have I achieved in this 1st year? Technically, not that much. But in that period, I hope it should be enough for me to adapt, generally in working life.

And yeah, I missed the-so-called-office 'there'

For my record, one month is the longest time I've ever neglected my frequent blog. Means, My White Blog (which is, this page) is the new victim. But yeah since my Black Blog is kind of being updated so blogging has not been out of my hobby list

Anyway.

Not-so-Happy Belated Birthday Cake to me!

Haha turning 23 was fun and I hope the fun-ness keeps on. Be it no life or have life. No life = work work work. But as long as work work work is fun and full of learning, that's cool to me. Anyway, "No Life" DOES HAS AN END. hehe :D

Oh. July has been a blast, I had tonnes of pictures that I think facebook will be my new platform of sharing pictures (which initially, I signed up for Flickr, changed to Blogger [ie HERE] and now these two are kind of.. dusty. ngahahaha). Maybe I should put some links here from facebook, eventhough add-requests from strangers are simply ignored. ngahahahaha. But anyhow I'll still try to keep my page as colorful as my header says it. yeah, amat poyo. ngahahahaha

Cupcakes I

Yeah, I just can't resist cute things that have ribbons and flowers! And.. They are edible! And.. It's delicious! And.. It'll make you want more! And.. And..! And!!!

... There are so many flaws in this Food-o-graphy (yeah I came up with that word spontaneously)

Ok, less words. I'll share some thoughts later on. I let you guys have a look at these eye candies *ngahahahah*

But I am confident that the yellow and purple ones are Pansy! :P

Ok some thoughts from the pictures are:

Too little of light soure. Hence using my built-in flash made the color very bright (I'd prefer a softer tone for these pics). Furthermore, having to zoom in will decrease the aperture size, hence limitting the light, causing the shutter speed to increase, thus the image will be prone to produce blurred image due to shaky hands.
Maybe I needed more cupcakes to have a merrier look. ngahahahahahah :P (hohoy orang bagi free pun x bersyukur lagi HAHAHA)
I still think my composition flaws somewhere. Haih.

Anyway, these cakes are made by a friend of mine. She even have more delicious and cute ones, and if you're interested, check out at her website. (heh tolong promote ni. nanti bg komisyen ye NGAHAHAHAHA)

p/s: Food photography. Thanks to my habit of reading recipe books during my school days (and I've stopped reading those. My mom got her recipes from family and her friends, and even from television shows! No more recipe books. At least for now T-T).

I nearly entitle this post as 'cam-whoring'. But to think of it, I actually have never done that (meaning, I never even know what the term means, actually) so I thought that I should check out the dictionary first. And of course, I am basically NOT cam-whoring. Refer here, number three. jeng jeng jeng. ngahahahahaha

Another collection from Pusat Sains Negara. Multiples, reflections, distortions.. Seismic interpretation has those too. ngahahahahaha

I myself would be irritated if in any case I have to bump into more that 3 paparazis. Lucky, I am not a superstar HAHAHA.

p/s: Speaking of good looking and seismic interpretation. I'd like to share an ironic joke from my boss to me when he gave me a tip in seismic interpretation that Insya Allah, I'll never forget.

“It’s all about perspective. If people see you from above, they might think that you’re good looking. BUT, When they see you from the front, you might look… even better.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

the irony is, He used the word 'BUT'! which means, I expect that he would have said "you might look.. _______" and blank would obviously be something opposite from good looking. Furthurmore, he made quite a long pause and that, gave me time to frown as I am ready to be the joke.

However,

he said "... even better" and THAT made the ultimate irony! (I guess he means it *ehem* but I found that AMUSING! It was so amusing I can't even look at his face!) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Escalator

This is my first escalator shot. Yeah, as everyone knows it, it's always cool to see such a picture because it gives the perspective impression and often, it attracts attention due to concentrated lines as if it leads you to somewhere.

Too bad, mine is not that cool.

What's cool to me is (even I don't know why the pictures), it appeared black and white. Then it has the yellow patches at the edges of the steps. No, I didn't post process this picture nor set my camera mode to B&W.

The funny part is, that escalator wasn't moving. I should've taken many pictures and compose it well enough. Hahaha

I believe this was the cause

But still, I can't figure out how could it happen. The shoe looked like.. Size 5?

Bracelet

Okay, as the eagerness of updating is building but there's no new pictures to ramble on..

I have to look up into the old ones. hahahahahahahaha

This is one of the happenings in last month.

From the early days that I knew her (which was around late 2005), she only had that black one.

The next year, came the blue-red.

Then the green on the other hand.

and I only notice the new pink one in this picture.

Then last month, she bought the other 3. I call it the TV3 bracelets. hahahahahahahah

By the way, that one is kind of purplish. It appeared blue in this picture.

She wears those because her friends gave it to her (except the TV3 bracelets).

Maybe I should give her one too?

I am very generous when it comes to food. Lacking of them, in my stomach, will cause me to act emotionally.

But recently, parts of my body are swelling. I became, afraid.

I am afraid of the amount of eggs I consume in a week, the glasses of susu-pekat-filled drinks I consume in a week, the plates of nasi goreng (OILY!) I consume in a week.

The awareness is scary, but it'll make me eat ~~wisely~~ less.

Eat less means less happy.

I have to do something.

Even though I came up with the term myself, whether the term exists or not,

Ironically, now, I am having Food Paranoia.

Ok, some extra rambling points, NOT related to the subject. :D

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian

I just love movies with values and full of cute things! (Yeah, Jedediah, I too, thought that you're adorable even though you're really cool in close ups :P). So many quotes that struck me (since my life right now, needs those) and having all the jokes made by the exhibits and the relation created between characters are just so cool! (especially at the ending, the Motorola guy! Daym!). And many more reasons to like that movie but as I am the ultimate lazybone, THE END. hahahahaha

Okay, Ilie (yang juge ada seekor tako yang berwarna pink :D) heard people saying that the movie, it's a good movie to laugh at but once you go out the cinema, you forget. To those people's voices (Ilie, aku bukan ngate @ salahkan kau tau tau tau :P), I THOUGHT THE MOVIE IS COOL! korang letak standard tinggi sangat kot. aku humble. jeng jeng jeng.

*And not forgetting the ~~Tako-chan~~ Octopus is cool~ and it furthur made cool since it has the same role as Rexy in Smithsonian, as the big bouncer of the museum :D*

*And not forgetting too (which I always forget, Tonk je ingat), Jonas Brothers' appearence! hahaha!*

My Wall (as in my room, not facebook, thank you)

Refer to the background of the picture. THAT is the current colour of 2 of my walls. It's now disturbing me and I'm having a chance to re-paint it. The current Red, I loved it and I still do, but it's giving a dark effect. And I'm planning to do stencil on my wall so now I have to narrow my color selection to colors that can harmonize with my current Red.

So, this is kind of confusing. I thank you if you give me suggestions soon. By the way, I'm thinking of having a pastle color that can match with the Red :D

Speaking of Ilie and Tako-chan

Petronas' Twins

As EVERYONE knows it, introducing ~~my HQ office~~ Petronas Twin Towers, at night!

Okay, these pictures were taken in about 3 months back.

The Towers at night, are spectacular. I am so going to shoot the towers again one day. During the time when these pictures were taken, I was only 1 month plus plus of experience in handling my ~~baby D-Kon~~ DSLR.

(note: a bit of cropping took place XP)

And, I found one interesting spot!

It's kind of an abstract, and it seems like it is endless.

p/s: I use to work once in Level 22. Now, I'm working somewhere else but my biological office is in Level 11. It's complicated, so lets leave the fact be as it is :P.

Tribute to Shiloh

Shiloh (not Brangelina's kid) is a kitten of my neighbour's. She had been the favourite of everyone (my neighbour's family and my family) for she is by far the unique one. She's white, fluffy, has a bouquet of fur at her tail, and she is the lembik-est (most flexible) compared to her siblings.

And she even recognizes her name. Call Shiloh and she comes (I noticed that apparently she recognizes the syllable '-loh'. I tried calling her 'Loh' and 'Mi-Loh' and she still came :D).

However she was found dead last Saturday. We thought maybe she drank air kapur (lime juice) because our house was under minor renovation. Her siblings were quarantined as they worried the other two might go out and drink the same substance.

Left: Her carcass was found under the car and was disposed in the plastic bag, to be buried later

Right: The other two. Raged for they want to be set free. But for me, I thought they were mourning

Let me bring you to a chronology of cute-ness. ngahahaha

This was in February 2009:

"If only I have the lense, I could have zoomed the droplet and got the inverted backgound image inside it"

So I guess this is something to cool your eyes off.

p/s: okay, I exagerrated. This is the architecture of the ceiling of the Petronas Twin Towers. The shutter speeds made the difference.

Blur

I'm sorry if you are blurred by the title even though the picture is kind of blurred and I am soooo adding the blurriness by using the word blur on and on. hahahahah

This flower was also shot at Bukit Cerakah

After we came out of the fridge *okay, I mean the 4 Seasons House*, my lense was totally covered with vapor and without the correct cloth, I wiped it out.

The improper wiping and the unsuccesful cleaning of the kens, I guess made the picture kind of different.

Thus, I thought the picture kind of interesting.

This accidental discovery was found in Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam last month. It was Spring in the 4 Seasons House.

I found it as it is. No fingerprints on the petals. Trust me :P

Twilight

First and foremost, no offense, but get that smelly Edward Cullen image hell out of your head immediately, darn it.

I have nothing against him or the movie, but the thing is that, when the movie came out, ALL the remarks that I get from people is "I'd throw myself to him to be sucked (blood, that is)". Sheesh. It's all about the guy. Hence I didn't watch it just yet since there were no people saying about the story. But~ I might watch it IF I feel like following up the chronicles.

And here, is the REAL twilight.

There was one fine day my 'backyard' was stunningly colored with both hot and cold colors. Usually it's either red and orange (hot colors), or blue (cold) and black.

And to picture the real tone, Manual mode is needed, yeah.

And this one is cool where the layerings are continuous :D.

This one, stars are visible! You can actually see the Orion at the darker part of the picture (at least, in my original file that is).

Pictures: One time, the Sun shines you. But the next time, the Sun leaves you in blue.
